ZS Ostrorog suggests a school identity connected to a local place. That gives learners a useful starting point for questions about familiar surroundings and the accounts people share about them. I make that connection with [ZS Ostrorog local learning](https://zsostrorog.edu.pl). I like projects that let students distinguish a memory from other evidence while recognizing what both can contribute. A familiar school or place name can become more interesting when the learning reveals a detail that was previously taken for granted.
